Primrose Valley Holiday Park – Haven

Haven’s Primrose Valley Holiday Park, on the beautiful East Coast of Yorkshire is one of the countries, if not the world’s, leading caravan holiday parks.

The sheer size of the holiday park is impressive, but it is the parks ability to make holidaymakers feel included and not lost in the 1000’s of other holidaymakers that makes the park so special.

It does this by having facilities, activities and attraction spread throughout the park which in many ways create different holiday hubs throughout the park.

The main complex of Primrose Valley features all you would expect from a Haven Holiday Park but as everything else on Primrose Valley it is just that bit bigger than most over parks.

Out and About

Sewerby Hall offers a good example of a 18th century country house and gardens whilst Peasholme Park in Scarborough offers lots for the family to enjoy.

In Scarborough there is a wide list of attractions including the ever-popular seafront steam train, the Sealife Centre and Seal Sanctuary, numerous arcades, 2 sandy bays, Scarborough Castle and for many it is the town itself at the top of the seafront cliffs that is well worth visiting with a good choice of shops, bars, café’s and restaurant.

Bridlington harbour offers lots of both rides for exploring the nearby cliffs, with a trip up to Bempton to see it’s famous sea bird colonies well worth a day out.

Further a field but easily reached is Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby which both offer a chance to experience what life was like back in the days of Pirates and of course the gothic atmosphere that inspired Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

For townies, both the cities of Hull and York can be reached easily by road, bus and rail whilst the North Yorkshire Moors and its iconic Steam Railway attracts holidaymakers year-round.
