Thorpe park has over 275 acres of coastal and countryside Lincolnshire just waiting to be explored, with a good spread of facilities and accommodation that means no matter how busy the park is, you can always find a quiet corner to unwind and relax.

The stand out features of Thorpe Par have the be the swimming pool complex featuring a lazy river (a slow moving shallow pool) a space bowl flume and swimming pool, a 9 hole golf course and a pitch and putt perfect for the whole family to enjoy or for those new to golf to experience the joys of playing a round on the coast and finally the parks own fishing lakes re perfect for angling fans.

When the sun is shining what better way is there to spend time with the family than relaxing on a sandy beach and that is exactly what you can do as Thorpe Park offers direct access to the sandy beach on the bank of the river mouth of the Humber. Watch boats head for the ports of Grimsby, Immingham and Hull go past or keep your eyes peeled for one of the 1000’s of Seals that call this coastline home.

The park offers lots of sporting opportunities for the more active holidaymaker with a climbing wall, a sport court, kart hire, zip wire and bungee trampolines all adding to the already mentioned swimming pool, golf course and fishing lakes.

Thorpe Park also offers all of the wonderful entertainment options that you expect from a Haven caravan holiday park including day time clubs for youngsters right up to teens. The evens on a Haven park is when things really come alive as all those who have stayed on site during the day join with those who have been off exploring to enjoy the entertainment on offer in the sites main complex.

Accommodation

Thorpe Park offers a good range of static caravan to suit all budgets from large and brand-new luxury models to smaller budget models and don’t forget as with all holiday with Haven, you only pay per caravan and not per person, so every holiday offers great value.

There is a good choice of specially adapted caravan for disabled holiday makers as well.

Haven’s Thorpe Park Holiday Centre is also capable of housing both touring caravans and motorhome with a range of grass and hard-standing pitches. Tents and trailer tents are also welcome and best of all the park offers fantastic facilities including heated shower blocks, a family room and a dishwashing area.

Location

Thorpe Park Holiday Centre is location just a short stroll outside of Cleethorpes on the Lincolnshire coast, with easy access to Grimsby, Mablethorpe, Skegness, Lincoln, Hull and the Lincolnshire Wolds

The park is easily reached via road or rail from Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Norfolk and from other parts of Lincolnshire thanks to it’s location near to the main A180 (from the M180), A52, A16 and A46 trunk roads.

Cleethorpes also has a rail station with direct services to a number of major towns and cities, with the park just a short taxi ride away.

Out and About

The park offers a great base for those who want to explore all that this part of Lincolnshire has to offer.

The seaside resort of Cleethorpes, with a pier, gardens, bars, cafes, rides, a long promenade and more is just a short stroll away from the park or why not enjoy a ride on the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway which goes from right next to the park to the edge of the town centre.

Just to the North of Cleethorpes in Grimsby, famous for it’s docks but it is also a pace to grab a bite or enjoy some shopping.

The whole of the Lincolnshire coast is famous for its natural beauty and for been home to a wide range of seals and if you are holidaying at the right time of the year, you will be able to get up close to these majestic animals.

The iconic seaside resort of Skegness is located just to the south of the park and is well worth a day out and you can call into Mablethorpe on the way back to enjoy the seal sanctuary there.

The natural beauty of the region can also be enjoyed in land with the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds offers lots of opportunities for walks and for exploring the many small villages and communities.

Further a field is the county capital city of Lincoln, home to a historic castle but also high-quality shopping and eating opportunities as well as many leisure activities including a theatre.
