Location

Seaview Holiday Park is located in the village of Preston, near to Weymouth in the County of Dorset.

The park is easily reached from the A35, which links most of the main coastal towns, cities and resorts.

For those without a vehicle, there are regular train and coach services to the nearby town of Weymouth.

Out and About

The park is located in the beautiful Dorset countryside which is just waiting to be explored form the park with the Purbeck Heritage Coast and the Durdle Door easily reached.

The town and resort of Weymouth, with beautiful sandy beaches is just a short drive or long stroll from the park with the Isle of Portland just a short drive past Weymouth. Weymouth offers a good range of seaside attraction as well as a good choice of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops whilst Portland offers the chance to view some of the countries biggest and most expensive houses whilst taking in the views out over Weymouth Bay.

Poole is easily reached to the West of the park and offers the opportunity to visit the Channel Islands and even the continent with regular ferry services to both.

The Dorset and Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are both a short drive away as are the historic Salisbury and Winchester.

For nature lovers, there are lots of attraction and opportunities to take in the local wildlife with the Abbotsbury Children’s Farm, the nearby Subtropical Gardens, and a Swannery all well worth a visit.

For those who like an adrenalin rush whilst on holiday, why not visit Adventure Wonderland theme park near Christchurch but for many the biggest attraction in Dorset is the Bournemouth Air Festival which takes place in August in the skies over the Bournemouth seafront.

Southampton, Portsmouth, Taunton and Exeter are all well worth a day out whilst there is a wide choice of attractions near to the park with Corfe Castle, the Tank Museum and Weymouth’s Sea Life centre amongst the most popular.
