Location
Sandhills holiday park is located on the seafront in Mudeford which sits on the edge of Christchurch harbour and with only a promenade separating the site from miles of beautiful sandy beach.
The park offers great views out over the Solent and the English Channel but that great location does come at a cost as it a few miles from a main A road and it is difficult for those without access to their own vehicle to reach the park.
The park is located in the small village of Mudeford which is just a short drive to the historic city of Christchurch. The nearest key road is found the other side of the city with the A338 offering access to the M27 near Southampton and also making it easy to reach the park for those heading form the west via Bournemouth.
There is a train station in Christchurch where long distance coach services also visit. It is around a 10 minute taxi ride from Christchurch.
Out and About
The parks location make sit great to simply set off walking and see what you come across. If you head west out of the park you will come across Christchurch harbour, where you can enjoy watching boats and some incredible views out over the English Channel.
There are also a number of seaside shops and cafes as well as water sports clubs within a short walk from the park.
If you head east out of the park along the front you can walk for miles and mile son beautiful sandy beach or along a seafront path to the always popular Steamer Point Nature Reserve, which is a great place to simply enjoy a relaxing walk whilst taking in some rare British wildlife including sea birds.
