Riviere Sands offers a small outdoor and indoor swimming pool complex complete with a waterslide and of course on a hot summers day you can take a stroll down to the beach and enjoy a dip in the sea.

For many it is the cliff top walks and beach access that really makes Riviere Sands special but that is not to say that this small and relaxed caravan park doesn’t have lots to offer holidaymakers.

For sporty types, Haven’s Riviere Sands offers lots of activities and facilities to make the most of your holiday with archery, crazy golf, kart hire, bungee trampolines, pool tables and a sports field amongst the most popular activities on offer.

Throughout the day, there is lots of entertainment on offer with kid’s clubs and ten clubs to keep the younger members of your party entertained.

As with most Haven caravan holiday park, it is on an evening when the park comes alive with a great choice of entertainment offered in the parks main entertainment complex. The Show Bar is the perfect place to sit, enjoy a drink and enjoy everything from bingo to kids games and a late night disco to cabaret acts.

Before heading into the Show Bar for the night, why not enjoy a meal in the parks café or restaurant or have a quiet drink in the park onsite pub? There is also a takeaway which is perfect for grabbing a quick, bite, taking it back to your accommodation and spending time together.

Riviere Sands offers a good choice of static caravan holiday homes including newer caravans with all of the mod cons of home for that luxury touch or choose a smaller caravan for those on a smaller budget. The park offers adapted caravans for disabled visitors and for those wanting to make the most of the parks stunning location, you can choose a van with a view!

Location

Riviere Sands Holiday Park is located near to Hayle in Cornwall, near to the St Ives and with easy access to the A30.

There are a couple of small, limited service, train stations nearby with connections to Penzance but due to the parks location on the cliffs of St Ives Bay, it is a difficult park for those without access to their own transport to visit.

Out and About

Their is lots on offer in the surrounding area, with the park offers easy access to most of Devon and Cornwall.

St Ives, a popular historic seaside town with a range of shops, cafes, restaurants and local attractions, is just a short drive away as is the Godrevy Heritage Coast- the perfect place to take seaside stroll.

Many holidaymakers head to the South West to enjoy it’s picturesque villages and historic seaside towns, with St Ives giving you the very best of both worlds. Wander through a maze of cobbled streets and visit the many numerous independent shops that make up the back streets of St Ives before heading down to the town’s harbourfront and watch local fishermen bring in their day’s catch or take a boat ride of your own to take in the views of Cornwall’s coastline from a different view point.

St Ives is also home to award winning restaurants, small independent cafes where the focus is all on hospitality and quality and historic pubs where you can enjoy a pint whilst taking in the history of former smugglers and pirate watering holes.

The famous historic port and smugglers town of Penzance as well as the surfing beaches of Perranporth are easily reached via road whilst the iconic Land’s End and Lizard Point is well worth visiting.

Further a field are the towns and cities of Truro, Newquay, Plymouth and St Austell which all offer their own charms with Newquay’s Blue Reef Aquarium the perfect way to spend a family day together if the weather takes a turn for the worse.

The Eden Project is one of the world’s greatest attractions dedicated to flora and offers the opportunity to see many of the world’s most beautiful and rare plants.

The Lappa Valley Steam Railway is the perfect way to step back in time whilst Newquay Zoo is one of the country’s leading animal attractions.

Of course, for many visitors to this part of the country it is the many beautiful sandy beaches and coves that are the main attractions and Riviere Sands puts you in the heart of Cornwall’s coastline with direct beach access.
