Reighton Sands certainty lives up to its name as the park offers direct access to miles and miles of sandy North Yorkshire beach.

Reighton, as the park is often referred to, offers a great range of facilities and activities which means that no matter what the weather is or what you like to do on holiday, the chances are there will be something for you and your holiday party to enjoy.
The good choice also means that if you are holiday as a family, all members will have things to enjoy individually but more importantly, there is lots on offer for the whole family to enjoy together and that is really what makes a caravan holiday with Haven so special.
The standout highlight is the parks cliff top location above the beautiful sandy beach of the Yorkshire Coast. If you are feeling energetic, you can walk along the cliff top to the impressive Bempton Cliffs or for an easier stroll, you can walk from the park to the town of Filey along the sandy beach- a great way to spend a sunny day.
Aside from using the park as a base to explore the surrounding area by foot, the next most popular facilities for holidaymakers have to be the parks own lazy river and golf course. If you have never enjoyed a lazy river, you should!
A lazy river is swimming without the effort. A small shallow ‘pool’ snakes it’s way around in a circle and thanks to a controlled slow current you can simply float your way around. Lazy rivers are great fun for the whole family and even for non-swimmers as you can always touch the floor.

The site offers a good choice of day time entertainment, but it is on a night when the complex comes alive with a range of shows, dancing and of course the always popular Bingo.
Although one of the smaller Haven caravan holiday parks, Reighton Sands still packs in plenty of options for food and drink with a takeaway, restaurant, bars and of course the entertainment complex offering drinks and snacks all night long.

Reighton Sands Holiday Park offers a good range of static caravan holiday homes, from brand new luxury vans, to smaller budget van that means there is an option for all holidaymakers.

Location
The park is located just outside of the town of Filey on Yorkshire East coast, near to the North Yorkshire/East Yorkshire border and close to the seaside resorts of Bridlington and Scarborough.
Out and About
Reighton Sands is perfectly located for exploring all that the region has to offer. As mentioned the seaside resorts of Bridlington and Scarborough are both a simply and short drive away and both offer a great selection of seaside activities from boat rides, beach games, amusements, rides and also a good choice of shops, bars, restaurants and cafés.
Scarborough also offers lots of attractions for the whole family to enjoy including a seafront miniature train ride, Peasholmes Park, Scarborough Castle, a Sealife Centre and Seal Sanctuary.
Further to the North are the coastal towns and villages of Yorkshires smugglers coast with Whitby and Robin’s Hood Bay well worth a visit. It is from Whitby where the North Yorkshire Moors railway ends it long run through the beautiful Yorkshire Moors – where lots of small towns and villages are just waiting to be explored.
Heading away from the coast, the Cities of York and Hull offer a good range of shopping and the county capital of York is also one of the country’s leading historical cities and tourist hot spots with a seemingly never-ending list of attractions from the cities iconic Minster to the National Railway Museum and from the York Dungeons to boat rides along the River Ouse.
