Reighton Sands certainty lives up to its name as the park offers direct access to miles and miles of sandy North Yorkshire beach.
With cliff top walks offering views out over the North Sea and with idyllic Yorkshire countryside surrounding the park, Haven’s Reighton Sands Holiday Park really is a sanctuary of clam and relaxation near to Yorkshire all action holiday resorts but that is not to say that the park has little to offer as over the years, Reighton list of facilities and activities has continued to improve and can now match most parks on the East Coast.

The park is one of Haven’s smaller and more relaxed parks with makes it a popular alternative to the larger parks on the Yorkshire Coast, especially for couples or those with young families but no matter who you are holidaying with, there is lots on offer at Haven Reighton Sands Holiday Park.
Reighton, as the park is often referred to, offers a great range of facilities and activities which means that no matter what the weather is or what you like to do on holiday, the chances are there will be something for you and your holiday party to enjoy.
The good choice also means that if you are holiday as a family, all members will have things to enjoy individually but more importantly, there is lots on offer for the whole family to enjoy together and that is really what makes a caravan holiday with Haven so special.
The standout highlight is the parks cliff top location above the beautiful sandy beach of the Yorkshire Coast. If you are feeling energetic, you can walk along the cliff top to the impressive Bempton Cliffs or for an easier stroll, you can walk from the park to the town of Filey along the sandy beach- a great way to spend a sunny day.
Aside from using the park as a base to explore the surrounding area by foot, the next most popular facilities for holidaymakers have to be the parks own lazy river and golf course. If you have never enjoyed a lazy river, you should!
A lazy river is swimming without the effort. A small shallow ‘pool’ snakes it’s way around in a circle and thanks to a controlled slow current you can simply float your way around. Lazy rivers are great fun for the whole family and even for non-swimmers as you can always touch the floor.
For many the chance to enjoy a round of golf is then perfect way to relax and enjoy spending times with friends and/or family but what is even better for golf fans is the chance to enjoy a round whilst on holiday. The good news for those looking to holiday on Reighton Sands and who like a round of golf is that you can have a round right on the park itself.
Simply stroll over the ‘clubhouse’ from your caravan and enjoy a 9-hole round of golf with stunning views out to sea and don’t worry if you are new to the sport, the course is perfect for those just learning or those who have played for years.
A side from those stand outs, Reighton Sands also offers all that you would expect from a Haven caravan holiday park including a good range of sporting facilities, kids club, ten club, amusements and the always popular entertainment complex.
The site offers a good choice of day time entertainment, but it is on a night when the complex comes alive with a range of shows, dancing and of course the always popular Bingo.
Although one of the smaller Haven caravan holiday parks, Reighton Sands still packs in plenty of options for food and drink with a takeaway, restaurant, bars and of course the entertainment complex offering drinks and snacks all night long.
Reighton Sands Holiday Park offers a good range of static caravan holiday homes, from brand new luxury vans, to smaller budget van that means there is an option for all holidaymakers.
Don’t forget that when you book a holiday with Haven, you only pay per accommodation and not per person which means every accommodation offers fantastic value.
The park also offers a choice of adapted caravans as well as offering facilities for tourers and motorhomes.
The park is located just outside of the town of Filey on Yorkshire East coast, near to the North Yorkshire/East Yorkshire border and close to the seaside resorts of Bridlington and Scarborough.
