On Site

For many the main feature of the park is the views on offer and the direct access to miles and miles of beautiful sandy beach that runs alongside the park. Easily accessed through sand dunes, the beach and the neighbouring nature reserve are great places to spend time together as a family and to enjoy the natural beauty of the region alongside the fantastic wildlife that calls this part of the UK home.

The park has a heated indoor swimming pool and an outdoor spalshzone for kids when the sun is shining.

For sporty types there is a lot on offer for holidaymakers to Haven’s Greenacres Holiday Park including archery, football, adventure golf (mini golf), indoor bowling, a multi-sports court, kart hire and pool tables as well as an amusement arcade and lots of open spaces to play games or simply relax with a good book or for a friendly game of frisbee.

Location

Haven’s Greenacres Holiday Park is located just outside of the town of Porthmadog on the North Welsh coast in Gwynedd.

With direct access to Black Rock Sands in Morfa Bychan, the park is easily reached from the A487, which links North Wales to South Wales and most towns along the coast.

For those without access to their own transport, the park can be difficult to reach but there is a train station in Porthmadog.

Out and About

Porthmadog is just a short drive from the park and offers a good choice of local shops, cafes and restaurants and has a good seaside vibe to it. With a large harbour and lots of walking opportunities the town is of course most famous for been the home of the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway.

Why not take a ride up into the mountains of Snowdonia or take a trip to the town of Caernarfon and visit the historic royal castle?

The Snowdonia National Park dominates the area and can be viewed form all parts of the park so why not pick up a guide and take a drive around the many back roads and take in some of the most stunning views in the UK enjoy some incredible nature.

To the South of the park is the popular seaside resort of Barmouth and the city of Aberystwyth, both of which makes for a good day out or why not simply head to one of the many beautiful beaches along this coastline and see if you can spot some of the resident Dolphins of Cardigan Bay?
