On Site

Blue Dolphin is a park of contrasts. It is a large park with a wide range of facilities and activities that allows everyone to enjoy their holiday and to pick and just to do as much, or as little, as they want but it is also a relaxing park with lots of open spaces and of course the parks location a top the cliffs of Yorkshire’s East Coast make for beautiful views out over the North Sea.

As one of the larger caravan holiday parks on the East Coast of Yorkshire, Blue Dolphin offers plenty of attractions and facilities to keep both the young and old entertained whilst on holiday.

During the day why not enjoy splashing around in either the indoor or outdoor swimming pool or simply explore the park on a family kart.

The views over the North Sea from Blue Dolphins cliff top position is best explored on foot via the cliff top walk from the park.

There is a choice of food and drink venues and 2 show bars where you can spend the night enjoying the family entertainment on offer.

The parks indoor and outdoors swimming pools are the perfect way to unwind but there is lots of opportunity for more fun and excitement as well on Blue Dolphin with activities including go-karts, archery, wall climbing and mini golf all available.

Haven holidays have a great reputation for day time and evening entertainment and that is certainly the case on Blue Dolphin which offers a large entertainment complex and show bar that everyone can enjoy.

Whilst exploring the bars, cafes and restaurants of the surrounding holiday is a fun part of a holiday for many, sometimes the ease of eating and drinking just a short walk from your accommodation is the best option and on those occasions, Blue Dolphin has you covered.

With a choice of café’s, bars, fast food outlets and the popular Haven show bar, Blue Dolphin has an option for all holidaymakers.

Blue Dolphin is located on the cliff tops near to the charming seaside town of Filey and ideally in-between both Bridlington and Scarborough.

The park is easily reached from all parts of the country, especially the Yorkshire cities of Hull, York and Leeds.

There are regular long-distance bus and train services to the nearby Filey where the park can be reached via taxi or local bus.

Further North is Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors whilst the cities of Hull and York are both under an hour away.

Out and About

The iconic North Yorkshire Moors railway is well worth the trip to Pickering where you can also visit the castle and the nearby Eden Camp.

Scarborough, one of the countries leading holiday resorts is just a short car ride or bus ride away and is well worth a visit. The town itself offers a good choice of bars, café’s, restaurants and shops- from national chains to independent retailers and the Stephen Joseph theatre offers a good night out.

Down the cliff from the town is the promenade of Scarborough, full of all you would expect from a seaside resort including large amusement arcades, children’s rides but there is also 2 sandy beaches and the towns own Sealife centre to enjoy.

Sitting a top the cliffs looking over the 2 bays is Scarborough Castle.

Bridlington is another popular seaside resort which has a smaller and more intimate feel to it when compared to Scarborough but still has lots to offer.

Scarborough and Bridlington both offer seaside fun with boat trips, amusements and a range of shopping, bars and restaurants.
The beauty of the Yorkshire countryside is all around the park from the Moors to the Wolds and is easily reached via an improving road network.

Away from the big seaside resorts, many visitors enjoy exploring the local countryside and the many small villages that can be found dotted up and down the East Coast of Yorkshire.

The Moors and Wolds offer the chance to explore some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK whilst for those holidaying on Blue Dolphin form outside of the region, no holiday to Yorkshire would be complete without a visit to York.

The historic city of York offers a huge choice of quality café’s and restaurants as well as some of the best shopping in the North of England. The city is also home to many attractions and historical sights and it can be easily reached via long distance buses and by train from Filey.
