Location
Mablethorpe is located on the Lincolnshire coast, about midway between the Southern resorts of Skegness, Ingoldmells and Chapel St Leonards and the Northern resort of Cleethorpes.
The towns location in a peaceful part of Lincolnshire far away from the big resorts and cities does make for a great location for a holiday, it can make it seem somewhat isolated and whilst it is relatively straight forward to explore via your own transport, if you don’t have access to a vehicle, Mablethorpe may not be the best choice of holiday resort.
Transport
Whilst there are some local bus services, there is little in the way of transportation links for Mablethorpe.
The town is a few miles from the A16 road that links Grimsby to Skegness and this can be easily reached from Lincoln in the West or Boston to the South.
Out and About
To the south of Mablethorpe is the all action holiday resort of Skegness is which is one the most famous seaside resorts in the UK and still amongst the most popular. Skeggy, as it often better known as by holidaymakers, offers all you would expect from a UK seaside town including amusement arcades, a promenade, a theme park, a pier and much more.
For many a holiday to Mablethorpe is the best of both worlds as you can easily visit Skegness and enjoy all that it has to offer and then still have somewhere to go to and relax and get away from the crowds.

Slightly further to the North is the iconic Humber Bridge, that links Lincolnshire to Yorkshire, with the city of Hull just a few miles from the Bridge.
