Cleethorpes Caravan Holidays and Holiday Parks
Cleethorpes is a seaside resorts and town located on the banks of the Humber Estuary in North East Lincolnshire. That means the resort faces North, somewhat unusually in England and with Yorkshire just across the river Humber, holidaymakers look ‘out to sea’ but see land!

That makes Cleethorpes a unique location especially when you couple it with the fact that the town lies on the Greenwich Meridian and it also has one of the lowest annual rainfalls in the British Isles.

Thanks to the towns locations near the mouth of the river Humber, there is an almost constant flow of large boats- from ferries to tankers and car transporters to cruise ships- to watch.

Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway

The Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway runs from near the town centre and near to the main holiday attractions along the seafront and through parklands to the South of the resort and near to the resorts biggest holiday park.

Featuring a range of miniature steam and diesel tians, the railway is popular with kids and adults alike.

Ross Castle

Ross Castle is a mock ruin of a Castle that sits on the seafront promenade in Cleethorpes, which was built back in 1885 by the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire railway. The ruin has been lovingly restored and is now a popular vantagepoint for looking out across the Humber across to Yorkshire and towards Spurn Point.
